I’m going to let you know surprising things in this blog post Even though I don’t know how to drive, I’m really into cars. Even though I work as a professional geek my entire education and half my working life have been centered around really, really obscure and nerdy books. We’re huge WordPress fans at The Blog Studio. It’s definitely the Swiss Army knife of content distribution. It’s great at so many things, and the user community is enormous and generous. With that in mind, we’re very excited for WordPress 3.1, which has just been released. We love a good infographic. Truthfully though, who doesn’t? Over the last two years, I’ve begun to notice that infographics are one of the most popular items that you see blogged, tweeted, re-tweeted and passed around online. Foursquare announced on their blog that the Superbowl had more checkins than any other venue since the service was launched. Throughout the 4 hours of the game, more than 200,000 people from 125 countries and all 50 states checked into the event. We love WordPress, so it’s no secret when there’s a WordPress update we light fireworks, bang gongs, smash open ‘W’ shaped pinatas and pour shots all around. You can probably hear the ruckus in the background which means it’s that time again!
